Camp Mimanagish, the 'Place of Singing Waters' includes 9 cabins, a dining hall and retreat center, chapel, lodge, tool shed and a bathhouse. The structures are either log or wood frame and built between 1937 and 1977. It is a three season camp 40 miles South of Big Timber Montana in the most beautiful valley in Montana, the Boulder Valley. Traditionally open from May through October, the camp is a Special Use Permit on USDA Forest Service land of approximately 16 acres and includes frontage on the Boulder River, a premier trout fishery. A purchaser of the camp would have to meet the intent in the Organization Camp Fee Act and the intent of the direction in the FS manual; both documents are attached. The permit provides for operation of a non-commercial, non-profit organization and a purchase is contingent upon buyers application and approval by USFS to operate Mimanagish as a camp.
