A unique set of recreational and hunting opportunities at almost 7200 feet featuring top of the world views! In June the mountain tops are lush with native wildflowers including the state icon, the Bitterroot. The Locust Lode and the Essay Lode started being mined in 1893 by two elderly gentleman.
